Skye and Lochalsh Council for Voluntary Organisations (CVO) has over several years developed a highly regarded  Community Toolkit – a guide to everything from starting up a voluntary group, to employment law, advice on charitable status and legal responsibilities. Backed by the Lottery-funded Supporting Voluntary Action programme, 25 of Scotland’s 32 Third Sector Interfaces have signed up to use the resource so far.
