The British Medical Association’s Patient Liaison Group believes that patient and public engagement is key to achieving a healthcare system that is responsive to patient needs and values. It has developed a toolkit to provide guidance to GPs and Practice Managers on how to effectively involve patients and the public in healthcare planning and delivery.
