The first Scottish Assembly for Tackling Poverty took place, in Glasgow, in February 2010. The Assembly was organised by the Poverty Alliance as part of its EPIC project. Around 200 people attended the event to look at some of the key challenges in the fight against poverty in Scotland. The report contains recommendations covering a wide range of topics, including welfare reform, health, education and minimum incomes.
