The Scottish Government has produced a ‘Strategic Narrative’ around the Government’s vision for sustainable high quality in health.  Entitled Achieving Sustainable Quality in Scotland’s Healthcare: A ’20:20’ Vision, the document emphasises prevention, integrated health and social care and self management.  It also calls for more of a shift from acute care to community care where appropriate.
