Applications are now being invited for Year 2 of the Achieving Community Empowerment (ACE) Programme.  ACE is delivered by SCDC and funded by the Big Lottery Fund. It provides support for community groups focusing on:

• Helping groups to identify what they’re good at it and where they need to improve/become more effective
• Helping groups to develop a plan of action in order to make their required changes
• Supporting groups to put their plan into action
• Sitting down with groups at the end of the year to review progress and identify what needs to be done next

SCDC will be prioritising those groups who need it most – particularly those groups who are in a period of transition or who feel that they are facing new challenges at the present time.
