The Department for Culture, Media and Sport has directed the Big Lottery Fund to focus its funding on the voluntary and community sector. However BLF devolved expenditure in Scotland is not necessarily affected by the new direction. Policy directions for the Fund are issued by the relevant devolved Minister. The policy direction applies only to UK wide non-devolved and England expenditure by BLF.
