The CLD Standards Council is developing a Framework of guidance and resources for Continuing Professional Development in Community Learning and Development. It has appointed the following contractors for the development of nine ‘strands’:

• Communities of Practice: University of Aberdeen
• Leadership and Motivation: Avanté Consulting
• Learning Journeys: CM Associates
• Required and regulatory training: Linked Work and Training Trust
• Quality and Continuous improvement: SCDC
• Maximising opportunities through CPD: The Taylor Group
• Practitioners in new/changed roles & positions: CIVIC
