SCVO has launched How to do things differently, the third sector manifesto for the Holyrood elections. It calls for:

• An extension of the community right to buy to urban communities
• The protection of grant funding to allow organisations, particularly smaller ones, the freedom to innovate and plan ahead.
• A reform of the way we design, commission and deliver public services.  ‘We want to see a greater focus on the needs of service users and we believe that by putting co-production at the heart of public services, we can revolutionise the relationship between the individual and the state’.
