Following the appointment as Minister for Transport and Infrastructure of Keith Brown MSP (who addressed two CDAS conferences during his tenure) the post of Minister for Skills and Lifelong Learning is proposed to be filled by Angela Constance MSP, pending parliamentary approval. She has been MSP for Livingston since May 2007. Previously she worked as a social worker and mental health officer and was a local councillor in Livingston.
