There is a lot of interest in the NHS and elsewhere in the idea of co-production as a collaborative way of designing and providing services involving both the provider and recipient, and empowering the latter. The first meeting of a Scottish co-production practitioners’ network took place in January, hosted by NHS Tayside. It is likely that the Scottish network will link with the UK wide network supported by NESTA (National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts) and the New Economics Foundation. For further information, contact Catriona Ness, Organisational Development Consultant, NHS Tayside, catriona.ness@nhs.net.
A summary, videos and presentations are available from a Scottish Co-production Practitioners Network Roadshow held on 14 March.
