Strathclyde University’s Court has confirmed the decision to close the University’s Community education and some other courses. However discussions appear to be under way with a possible alternative provider, possibly the University of the West of Scotland and there are even intriguing suggestions that national funding for the course may turn out to have been specifically ‘earmarked’ after all.
