The Scottish Government commissioned an independent evaluation of the CLD Upskilling Programme and has published it on their website. Overall, the report gives a positive evaluation of the programme, whilst highlighting the issues that both the Scottish Government and the field can learn from.  Importantly, it highlights the feedback from those involved in the programme that the increased focus on Continuing Professional Development is raising the profile of the profession and that has been welcomed by practitioners.
