CDF commissioned the New Economics Foundation to work with them and four local authority partners to produce evidence of social return on investment (SROI) in community development activity. This report tracks the cost benefit of the four local authority CD teams, identifying, supporting and nurturing volunteers within their areas to take part in local groups and activities, improving the lives of people in the wider community.
