London based charity Community Links has published ‘The Triple Dividend – Thriving lives. Costing less. Contributing more. – The first report of the Early Action Task Force’. It looks at all forms of ‘‘early action’, which “includes action at all critical life stages where many individuals can benefit from and welcome extra support to achieve their full potential”. It aims to create a shift from “The conventional language of prevention, avoiding the worst, [which] presupposes problems, victims, perpetrators” to “the language of readiness, becoming the best that we can be, [which] identifies assets and builds on strengths”.
