A CDAS conference will be held on Tuesday 22 November at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh.
The theme is “Community Development – at the centre of the action”.
We will focus on the many opportunities for community development to play a major role in helping to achieve major national and social priorities, including:
- the Christie Commission/Public Sector Reform agenda
- the consultation on a Community Empowerment and Renewal Bill
- Community-led regeneration
- Health inequalities, health improvement and public service reform
The conference will allow people from all sectors to hear more about and respond to these developments. But above all it will highlight why community development work and values are central to making them achieve real change when put into practice.
It will run from 10.30 am (Registration from 9.45) to 4.00 pm. Charges: Community groups £50, All others £70.
