Colin Ross and Mick Doyle, Education Scotland gave a short briefing on the new Strategic Guidance on Community Learning and Development, launched the previous day and responded to a discussion.

Venue: Scottish Community Development Centre, Glasgow

Andy Milne, Director, SURF, led a discussion on the prospects for community-led regeneration following the Scottish Government policy statement ‘Achieving a Sustainable Future’. The meeting also included a discussion which was part of a consultation on possible guidance or ‘Standards’ for community capacity building, not recorded as a separate paper.
